| André J. PREVOS died of a heart attack, in
his sleep in April 2002.Professor at Penn State University, long-time
contributor to French magazine Soul Bag, André was a regular guest in
International Conferences all over the world, including China, the USA,
France (his homeland), Belgium, etc.. He will be sadly missed.

Living Blues writer Peter Aschoff died in the early morning of
February 15 after suffering a heart attack at home. He was only
52. A native of Iowa, Peter was an instructor in the Department of
Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Mississippi, where he
taught a popular course on the blues. He had worked regularly with Living
Blues since 1983, when the magazine was relocated from Chicago to
the Center For the Study of Southern Culture at the University of
Mississippi.There will be a funeral home visitation on Monday, February
17 from 4 -- 6 pm at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, located at 419
Highway 6 West.
Peter will be greatly missed.
